Entering into the bright, contemporary kitchen, you will find everything you need for your stay, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, four slice toaster, a totally frost-free fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table gives a pleasant area for enjoying your meals together. Past the fridge-freezer, you will find a boot tray and bench where you can take off your walking boots or shoes. There are more coat hooks above the boot tray for waterproofs.

There is a double wall socket with twin USB charging outlets close by each of the sofas, too.  A handmade folding louvred wooden screen provides privacy yet allows the light to flood in. If you wish, at night, this screen can be lifted off the windowsill and folded away, then the original wooden shutters can be closed.

A selection of books is provided for you to read during your stay, plus leaflets that show you some of the places to visit and eat in the local area.

Bedrooms

Up the carpeted stairs you will find two large bedrooms and a large shared bathroom. Each bedroom has been finished in the same style but each has it’s own individual colour scheme. Both bedrooms have a king-sized double bed, matching bed-side cabinets, dressing table, chair and an open wardrobe. Luxury bedding and throws complement the Egyptian-cotton towels, all freshly laundered, are provided for you to use during your stay. You’ll find more USB sockets each side of both beds, too.

Bathroom

Offering plenty of space, you will find a large straight bath where you can soak away any aches after a day walking in the hills. Should you prefer to shower, the glass screen and shower over the bath, with its dedicated thermostatic shower mixer bar provides a safe showering experience.

A combi boiler produces the domestic hot water, so there’s no need to worry about the hot water running out, even if everyone wants to take a bath or shower one after the other! There’s even a non-slip mat provided to stand on in the bottom of the bath for those wanting to take a shower. Two bath mats are also provided, one matching each of the two bedroom colour schemes.
